Today I see Dr. Patterson at Holy Cross to get my blood work result and get cleared for chemo on Wednesday afternoon.  Next week I am off which means I get to not spend $1500 for treatments.  I am waiting to hear from PCIP.
They say the hair falls out during the 3rd week.  Personally, I am not excited about a wig and hope to wear scarves if it happens.
I sure wish you would all leave comments for me. I think it takes some work and that is why I havent heard from you.  The google account is free.  Sign up and leave me some notes here.  Thanks all for sharing and caring.

  1. I can't come and give you a hug, but I check your blog everyday to see what's going on and I am sending you positive thoughts and prayers for a successful and full recovery. Bless you Jeanni for all you have done for others - you deserve a few breaks now.

  2. Although I don't write much - believe me, it's definitely NOT because I don't think of you, because I do. Daily you are in my thoughts & prayers & I talk about your 'challenge' to all of my caring friends that are so willing to pray for you as well.
This is the busiest time for me & Marie in our golf world...not only do we play tournaments at least 3 times a week, we play in different leagues too. WE both are on The Board & committees planning events all summer. Today we invited the 18 holers to play & lunch w/us. We got rained out but still met for lunch --we were at 30. After lunch our board met w/many topics for discussion & voting. The nominating committee also looking for a change of "command".
We may be losing our contract w/ our current caterer ( food leaves a lot to be desired) ..hoping for a better bid...soon will find out if they (Ardeo's) stay or go.
Anyway, lots happening as I imagine does on in your Bridge world.
I do care about you & try to stay in the moment w/you & think positive thoughts .
Yes, you're right it does take work to leave comments...just know that I'm there in spirit.
Think I'm running out of space...but not to worry...I'll be back..Love, Mary
